Now when our hearts were depressed, and we were about to turn back, behold, the Lord comforted us, and said: Go amongst thy brethren, the Lamanites, and bear with patience thine afflictions, and I will give unto you success (Alma 26:27).

My first week in Gandía

Hey everybody, so I have been one week in Gandía! That is crazy, this past week has gone by so fast! We did A LOT of service for some investigators this week. They own a store called La Despensa  and they needed help moving the whole local, and even though a lot of members were supposed to come and help, only a couple came so we had to go in a pitch a hand. We moved everything in three days, and there was A LOT of stuff, and we just had a little camioneta. But the investigators came to church, and bore her testimony of this church that it is a church of love and that she thanked us for everything we have done for her. Future baptism in the works!

On Saturday as well, we had an activity with the Elders Quorum, and we talked about how we can better ourselves so that we can work more as a team. Many ideas were thrown around, and we settled one that we should start with the basics of reading and praying sincerely day. We went up to el Castillo de Bayren, an old Moorish castle (Never thought I would see one in my mission) but it was so good to see something from home, Andalucía again :)

And well, that is it… we did a lot of service and we are trying to get into the swing of things. Please pray for us this month to have baptisms because the ward will become more excited about working with us! Thank you!!!
Hasta la semana que viene!
