Now when our hearts were depressed, and we were about to turn back, behold, the Lord comforted us, and said: Go amongst thy brethren, the Lamanites, and bear with patience thine afflictions, and I will give unto you success (Alma 26:27).

Semana Santa

Saludos a todos! Hey everyone!

Welcome back and Happy Easter and Holy Week!!! This is the time in which we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Here in Spain, they do it a little differently as you can see by the pictures.

But this week was good. There is nothing much to count for, we are finding more people, losing some, but we have about three people that want to be baptized, although their family circumstances won´t let them be baptized! Please pray for Leo and Milagros that they can have the opportunity to be baptized, they are much needed in the group!

An exciting announcement is that we had our first mutual and three youth came! They loved it and they asked if we were going to do it every week. We said yes and they were really excited! We played sports, but the next time we are going to do something more fun, I hope jaja.

And well, Holy Week, it is a good time to remember our Lord, and for all that He did for us, and there is General Conference this weekend! Go with questions, doubts, anything you want and I promise that it will be answered in the conference. It is a great time to receive revelation! And For Semana Santa, I want to leave you all with Juan 3:16 as to why Jesus suffered for us.

And one last thing, here is the new video the church came out with for Easter! It is amazing!

Love you all! See you next week!

In the rainy days

Hey everybody, this week has been good, but also a little rough. Some of our investigators decided to drop us, included two that wanted to be baptized because they are moving away. But it is okay, we are still finding great people!

Last Monday for p-day at the castle of La Suda
This week has been raining A LOT! We were out passing by people and trying to find new people, and we were completely soaked. And nobody would let us in really, so we just tried to find people, and we did! We saw that people are more receptive in the rain jaja xD

Working in the rain
But not much happened this week. Despite the rain, we had six investigators come to church. which is amazing! They all loved it and have more desires to learn more! And well, we are starting a little bit more back this week, but we have a lot of people that are almost there!

The building where we go for church meetings
And the scripture for this week in in Romans 12:11, where Paul is talking in which we have to be diligent, and boy, did I learn that this week jaja!

Love you all!!!

Travelling To and Fro

Hey everybody, I am back again for another week!
On the bridge of Tortosa
And Happy Birthday to the best brother in the world, Harrison! You are now 19 buddy! Felicidades!! Te quiero un montón!

Happy 19th birthday Harrison!

But anyway, we didn´t have a baptism this week. José Antonio went to Barcelona for a few days and his phone died so we have no contact with him as of late...dang it :P But he will be baptized soon though!

And well, let´s see, two big things happened this week. One we went to Barcelona on Thursday for a conference with Elder Olsson of the Seventy, and he talked to us about the importance of working with the members and that the Lord was changing the way missionary work has been. I was also able to see a lot of my old mission friends, who go home in just a couple of months! That is so scary!

Then, on Sunday, we went to Tarragona for Ward Conference (since Tortosa pertains to the Tarragona ward still) and it was good. We had a total of about 10 members go, and in the end, in ward council, the stake has big plans for Tortosa in the future. I can´t say anything yet, but they are going to be good :D
In Tarragona

And the scripture for this week is in Alma 50:1-6, where Moroni is going about fortifying all the cities from the lamanite attacks, and we can apply this to how we can fortify ourselves in our day to day lives :)

I love you all, have a great week!
