Templo Romano / At the Roman Temple, built in the 2nd century. However it was found in 1882 under a castle that had been built on top of it
Plaza Mayor - Main Square
Catedral de Vic - Cathedral
So this is Vic, as you can see from some of the pictures. Around
every corner there is a Catalan sign and most of the Native Spanish people only
speak Catalan so it is a little bit of a struggle to speak Spanish in a place
where hardly anyone wants to. But we find people.
But Vic is good. It is a little bit
rough but you just have to keep talking to people in order to find those who
are ready to hear the Gospel. And it definitely is not the Spain I am used to,
let´s just say that haha!.
We teach a lot of people from Africa
and South America. The Africans speak mostly English and the South Americans,
Spanish obviously. But they make up most of our branch here. Our branch is
about 55 people that come on a weekly basis, with four young men who are of age
to go on missions!!!! And
we eat at members houses quite a bit!
Deep in Catalan territory, with
hardly any Spanish Speakers about, Elder Sadler managed to pull off two
baptismal dates for March!!!! Boom!!! We have two baptisms scheduled for the
15th of March, so hopefully they will pull through and we have other people
that are so close!!
And mamá, you better be glad at how
my cleaning skills were at home, because missionaries here have NO idea what
clean is. I walked into the apartment and it was like AHHHHHHHH, hahaha!!!
But thanks for all the support everyone!!!!
I am trying my best out here and you are all in my prayers!!!! Stay Strong!!!
Hasta pronto!
Elder Sadler
