Hola family and friends!
So I am now in Vic, a small little
city, with a branch in an office building. It is located about 1 hour from
Barcelona. There are about 55 people in the branch and most of them are women
and children. But we did just have a baptism this week! for a young man (19)
named Kevin. The sisters found him only a couple weeks ago and he accepted
everything! You can definitely see the change in his life :) But being here is
good. There was a John Deere exhibition, which is an American Farm company,
which was going on this past week so that was pretty funny haha!
But not a lot of people in Vic want
to hear our message. It is an area where they mostly speak Catalan, and if you
do not speak it, they do not want to listen to you. However we managed to find
a couple of people to hear our message and we picked up a couple of new
investigators on the way!! The work is going slowly but surely :)
The first night I got here, I had to
teach a Spanish class to a man from Ghana named Francis. He knows Spanish, but
wants to know it well and speak it as fast as they do here since his wife
speaks it fluently. He thought I was a great teacher since I explained
everything so well in a way that he could understand!!
But there is not much going on here.
There is a lot of studying, contacting, and work being done, but nothing too
crazy yet for this week!!!
Just wanted to say one more time I
love you all and I miss you a lot! I know you will be safe during these two years!
You are always in my prayers, and I would not be here without you :)
