Hey everybody!!! It is the middle of
marzo and here it is still pretty cold!!! But we can go out in sweaters for
most of the day now so it isn´t too bad.
Just wanted to give a special
shout-out to my brother Harrison, it was his birthday last Thursday and he turned
18!!! WOOOOO!!!!! So Happy Birthday, little brother :)
Anyway, so in Vic last week we had
two baptisms planned and they both fell through. One is definitely ready, she
is just waiting for her family to be in town, and the other just needs a little
more work, but we know she is ready as well!! But the work here is slowly
progressing. We could still use all the prayers from everybody and thank you
all so much for that!!!! We just need one last big miracle and the baptisms
will start coming in!!!
But this week was pretty normal.
Just teaching and contacting and trying to get new investigators, but on
Thursday of last week, the 13th, we had a zone conference with six of the zones
in my mission! So many missionaries were there!!! We had Elder Kieran talk to
us and train us on the importance of being happy and being friendly to those we
meet. It was so good! We were there for a few hours doing practices and
analyzing ways to make our missionary work better and after that, in Vic, I put
those things into practice and we are finding more people! *Doing a happy
dance*
But thank you all for all the
support that you are giving me!!! If you have sent me a letter, I probably
haven´t gotten it yet because the mission has been a little chaotic (in a good
way) so we haven´t had the chance to claim our letters.
You all are amazing, my brothers and
sisters! Do things that you should be doing and never do things that you
shouldn´t, rule of life.
One thing I have learned out here is
that things work in threes. I am pretty good at recognizing people in the
street that we barely saw a few days ago and didn´t have the chance to talk to.
But if I see them three times in a week, I must go talk to them because it is
the Lord showing me I need to talk to them. And every single time they accept
our message and want to hear more. Every. Single. Time. Never doubt the power
of the Spirit and always work in threes.
Anyway, I gotta go!!! Love you all!
TTFN, Ta Ta For Now!!!!!
