Hey everybody so another week has come and it is the week of
transfers. So, we got the call on Saturday night that I would be going to...Martorell!!!
A city near Barcelona that is strong in the church. I was so excited to go
there since I had heard so many good things from it. But then, on Monday
morning, we got a call from one of the ayudantes (assistants). He said that
something happened with another Elder who needed to stay near Barcelona, so I
was being switched to Pamplona!!!! So that is where I am now, in Pamplona with
my new companion Elder Ochoa from Honduras. He is great! Super nice and funny,
and made me feel welcome after a long four hours train ride, jajaja!
But my last week in Vic was a good one. We saw a lot of
people and the branch is progressing in the Gospel. We were teaching one of our
best investigators, Augustine, about the ten commandments since he has a
baptismal date for the fifth of July. He told us at the end of the lesson that
he knows baptism is important and that it is necessary to salvation. We were
about to jump for joy when he said that!!
We had a going away party as well for one of the Hermanas
that was in Vic because she is finishing her mission this week. She was super
good and the members are really going to miss her. Best of luck to Hermana
Hamson!!
And last but not least… Spain in the World Cup, a disaster,
made me so sad…oh well, there is still the next year(s) to come. Thanks for
tuning in everybody! I will be sure to update you next week with my adventures
in Pamplona!!!! And the Running of the Bulls is coming up in a couple of
weeks!!
Hasta la próxima!
