Now when our hearts were depressed, and we were about to turn back, behold, the Lord comforted us, and said: Go amongst thy brethren, the Lamanites, and bear with patience thine afflictions, and I will give unto you success (Alma 26:27).

Technology coming our way

Hey everybody, so this week has been a pretty busy week with traveling and such, because we have just been given permission to use technology for our mission for proselyting use! So we are getting all of that set up right now and we are seeing many miracles from it as we have more contact with members and investigators and we are able to use it to show some lessons which are good for people!

But there was that and well, this week we were busy with a combined ward activity with Tarragona and Tortosa and we had about 40 people there. We went to a place called Fontcalda and it was a really spiritual experience. We had about 10 investigators go, of all ages, and they really felt the Spirit. Obispo Martínez shared a great message about the Restoration and some of the investigators now have interest in the church!

In Fontcalda on Saturday. Check out the people, hot springs and church behind me.

And well, that was all that happened this week really. We are both a little tired, but to leave you all with a scripture, 3 Nefi 11:14, this is where Christ tells the Nephites to come and feel the marks He has from being crucified, so that they know for certain that He is the Christ. We must have that firm knowledge as well, as we are the examples to our friends and family members.

Love you all!!!

Keeping busy and traveling around

Hey everybody, another week, and well, transfers week was last week so we spent a lot of time traveling to Barcelona, Tarragona and to pueblos visiting people, so Elder Burton was able to meet all the members here in the matter of a couple of days, jaja! But we are really excited for the area!

With my new companion Elder Burton

We didn´t have as many people in church this Sunday, only 25 and 3 investigators, but most of the people we called after had family visiting, were sick or had to work. Well, at least it is okay to do that on a day that someone from the stake is not here jaja xD. But things are picking up and we are going to have a really big activity with the members this week (pictures will be sent next week).

So this week I was just showing Elder Burton the ways of Tortosa, and he already loves it! On Sunday we did mutual with the youth and we did a Shincana or a treasure hunt, and out of the 40 things on the list, the winner was...us!! The kids called us cheaters, but we try not to be jajaja! broma ;)

The scripture for this week is in 3 Nefi 7:24. It is a small scripture, but it impacted me in a big way, that Mormon says that the way to true repentance is by being baptized by water, and it shows how importance it is to fully repent. That is all for you to do!

¡Hasta la semana que viene! / See you next week!
